Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. On a ৳1,000 bet, if team A wins the total return is ৳3,000 (৳2,000 profit + ৳1,000 original stake). If team A loses, the full ৳1,000 is gone. The team is the underdog — so the odds are higher.
Example 2 — Team B favourite
Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American −200. −200 means you need to stake ৳200 to win ৳100. On a ৳1,000 bet, if team B wins the total return is ৳1,500 (৳500 profit). The team is the favourite — so the odds are lower.
